NORWICH
ROAD MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

Around 10:00 hours the
Central Village Fire Company was dispatched to a motorcycle accident on
Norwich Road in the area of Evergreen Street. At the time of the
dispatch, the severity of injuries were unknown. ET-197 responded
on the run with a crew of five (5). First arriving Assistant Chief
Irons (C-297) found a single motorcycle down with it's operator having
been thrown some twenty (20) feet into a grassy area adjacent to Norwich
Road. Personnel from the A.L. Post 91 Ambulance Corps initiated
patient care while the crew from ET-197 controlled hazards. The
operator was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening
injuries. Central Village units returned to quarters by 11:00
hours. |
