Friday, April 25, 2008
At 13:40 hours QV dispatched
Central Village units to assist the Plainfield Fire Department with a
quick-moving brush fire on Lathrop Road in their first due. ET-197

within minutes before continuing onto the original assignment. The
crew from F-197 arrived and immediately went to work extinguishing fire

Several other mutual aid forestry apparatus and tankers were called to
the scene before the estimated 15 acre fire was brought under control.
