CENTRAL VILLAGE FAST RUNS MORTLAKE HOUSE FIRE

Saturday, April 19, 2008

At 18:30 hours The Mortlake Fire Company was dispatched to a well-involved structure fire on Gorman Road in their first due.  The balance of the assignment consisted of E. Brooklyn, Atwood Hose, and a FAST response from Central Village & Moosup.  ET-197 responded with a crew of six (6) under the direction of Deputy Chief LaPierre (C-197).  Arriving Mortlake units confirmed full involvement of the single story wood-frame dwelling and initiated an exterior operation.  Central Village and Moosup FAST crews stood-by until 20:00 hours before being released by Command.
