MINOR ACCIDENT SENDS ONE TO THE HOSPITAL

At 15:15 this afternoon The Central Village Fire Co. was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Green Hollow Road in the area of the infamous Green Hollow Farm.  ET-197 and R-197 responded with a total of six (6) members.  First arriving Assistant Chief Irons (C-297) reported a single vehicle accident vs. stone wall with all patients appearing to be ambulatory.  All injuries were minor, and one (1) occupant of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital.  Crews from ET-197 and R-197 secured hazards associated with the vehicle, and assisted the Plainfield Police with traffic control.  Central Village units operated for thirty (30) minutes before returning to service.
