STREET VEHICLE FIRE

Just after 20:00 hours The
Central Village Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the
parking lot of 7-Eleven on E. Main Street. First arriving Captain
Holcomb (C-397) reported the fire to be extinguished by a patron of the
store, and the balance of the assignment could respond with traffic.
The passenger compartment of the vehicle, which sustained moderate
damage, was further overhauled by additional fire company personnel.
The Plainfield Police and Fire Marshal were also called to the scene.
Central Village units returned to service by 21:00 hours.
